The first reason to create the company GEMI LLC – Dried Fruits from Georgia was awarding Georgia by the EU visa-free travel for the citizens of Georgia to the European countries. Next was the establishment of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) for Georgia with the European countries (EU).

The small team of Georgian and German partners with more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture, international marketing, and international trading with good knowledge of the requirements of the European market and European society in general decided to establish the Georgia based company that starts producing of dried fruits made of only organic products, produced mainly in Georgia.

While DCFTA was created to support the sustainable development of the Georgian business infrastructure, we decided that the establishment of such kind of enterprise will support this goal for the development of the agricultural in Georgia, especially in rural areas of the country. All the team of GEMI LLC is highly motivated to support and promote the protection of nature and the environment. We try with our personal attitudes to the nature of our planet give a good and clear message to all our partners and suppliers how can we improve the sustainability of the environment where we live and work.

All the team of GEMI LLC is motivated to succeed in the promotion of the products created and produced in Georgia specially for the European market and we hope very much that in near future the products produced in Georgia will take the distinguished place in the European market.
