Very rare when Georgians passing by fig- or quince-tree look at it because these trees are as common as people themself in Georgia. Due to the reasonable climate of Georgia all local fruits and vegetables are so sweet and tasty that all visitors of the country keep in their memories the taste of those delicious ones.
Georgia bounded from the western edge with Black Sea shore and from the North with the high mountains of Great Caucasus is rich with apple, grapes, fig, persimmon, quince, walnuts, almond and melon.
From the beginning we produce in Georgia dried fruits of persimmon, quince, kiwi, feijoa, melon, apricot. In addition to these exotic for the European market fruits we also produce dried apple, prune, raisins, peach and pear.
